Nick Lupa
Nick Luppa, lead instructional designer on such CTI interactive initiatives as Fully Involved and Fire Safety for Kids, is a former instructional design leader at Bank of America, Hewlett-Packard and Apple’s Learning Technologies Group. While working for Paramount Pictures in 1997 Mr. Luppa became the principal designer of the StoryDrive Engine Project for the Defense Modeling and Simulation Office of the United States Army. This project sought to create a story-based simulation training system leveraging powerful movie-style storytelling. Mr. Luppa was also the principle instructional designer for the US Army’s Advanced Leadership Training Simulation (ALTSIM) and Paramount’s project lead on the Army’s Leaders Simulation Training Program. He holds a masters degree from Stanford University in Psychology of Communication.

Temple University
Dr. Donald Hantula, director of the Decision Making Laboratory at Temple, is an organizational psychologist and university professor who consults with Compelling Technologies on the company’s Firefighter Injury assessment and analysis initiative. His research combines themes of evolutionary theory, technology, performance management and decision making, and he has published more than 75 scholarly articles. Dr. Hantula is Executive Editor of the Journal of Social Psychology and recently completed a term on the Decision, Risk, & Management Sciences panel of the National Science Foundation.
