Firefighter injuries cost the United States up to $7.8 billion annually. Many can be prevented by improved equipment, protocols, communication, leadership, or management. CTI has conducted an in-depth study and analysis of firefighter injuries, as well as contributing behaviors, attitudes and motivations. The goal is to design specialized instructional programs and management tools to help firefighters and commanders lower the injury rate.
